Fondis Wine Master C25 holds a prominent position in the realm of wine cellar conditioning and is one of the most esteemed manufacturers within the United Kingdom. Their offerings reach across Europe and even to America, showcasing a wide array of cellar conditioning units. No matter the space you have, Fondis has a solution to ensure your wines are stored in the ideal environment.
The Winemaster C25 model is the smallest unit Fondis offers, specifically designed for rooms up to 25 cubic metres in size that are well-insulated. This unit exclusively provides cooling, necessitating its placement in a part of the house where the ambient temperature remains above 12°C. A well-insulated room is preferable to avoid significant fluctuations in temperature.
The C25 is intended for through-the-wall installation, which requires it to be mounted on an internal wall rather than an external one. The air extracted from the conditioned room will be non-toxic and slightly warmer than the ambient temperature.
A condensate tube is positioned at the bottom right-hand side of the conditioning unit, inside the cellar. This tube should lead to a container or natural drain to ensure that excess water vapour is properly managed and does not accumulate on the floor.
** Proper insulation tailored to the cellar’s size will help lower the amount of energy consumed when operating temperatures are moderate. However, should the temperature reach 35 °C, the device may struggle to maintain a cellar temperature of 12 °C.
